TIPS FOR BUYING A CHILDS GUITAR

It’s usually recommended by guitar tutors that children learn to play on a nylon string guitar. The reason for this is that the fretboards are slightly wider, making it easier for children to place their fingers. The nylon strings are also kinder to their fingers, making it easier for them to learn

Most children learn to play guitar when they are between 7 and 11 years old. This means in most cases a three quarter sized (3/4) or 36 inch guitar will be the best fit.
